An RSC is the most common style box used for packaging or shipping products. This slotted style box consists of flaps of the same length that meet in the center that can be glued, taped, or stapled for closure. Unlike a RSC or traditional box, a die cut box requires special tooling called a cutting die. The cutting die is used to “stamp” out the unique design of the box. Some examples of specialty die cut boxes include, one piece( tuck top) mailers, self locking trays, file boxes, and telescope or octagonal boxes.
